What does Blossom do?
We operate throughout the North West (UK) and offer a variety of accredited courses, programmes and workshops aimed at increasing self-esteem and promoting a healthy inner and outer lifestyle. The distinctive delivery style of Blossom aims to aid the student to become more self aware and give them the self-confidence to make changes in their perceptions and attitudes that will give them the opportunity to fulfil their potential as valued members of their families and the wider community.

The National Open College Network (NOCN) courses we have adopted concentrate on communication skills and self-development. The unique approach of Blossom is primarily directed to induce a sense of self-belief and worthiness. In doing this we aim to remove the biggest barrier to learning, that being a profound lack of confidence and fear of failure, thereby opening the door to self improvement.

Our students gain awareness of and trust in their skills and abilities, bringing their ambitions into a realistic and attainable realm. The students are then better able to make positive and practical choices about their future, firm in the knowledge that with applied hard work they can achieve their goals. Whether that is to return to formal education or to take up other vocational courses within the work place, without fear and with a sense of pride in their achievements and future aspirations.
There is always a need for more resources, more direction and more creativity in the development and delivery of courses that will engage young women. Blossom works in partnership with other agencies to deliver that creativity and direction.
We consider the Blossom Programme as a major step in caring for the personality growth of young women, and equipping them with the tools to deal effectively with the emotional and psychological challenges of living in the world today.
