Me, My Life, My Hopes
Increasing Your "Get up & Go"
Go out and take charge of your life. Decide what it is you want to do, whether it’s find a job, or go to college. Come along, and in the company of like-minded people find out just what you’re made of. Complete a ‘Personal Plan’, and discover your personal goals. Pick up some tip on how to impress people with the ‘real you’. Talk yourself into achieving the life you want.

Child Development and the Importance of Play
This course gives an introduction to children’s physical and cognitive development from birth to 5 years. It provides helpful information about how and why children play and its importance, and how it shapes and develops children’s intelligence.
This course assists the student in managing their own learning and study skills. It also includes a section on child development theory, how to undertake child observations and assignments which is a must for any student.

Peer Mentoring
Understanding the Role of a Peer Mentor
The peer mentoring programme will give you the opportunity to provide guidance, advice and support and serve as a role model for other young people who need help.
How would I benefit from becoming a Peer Mentor?
Being a mentor will give you the opportunity to support other learners and will help your personal development. It can provide evidence of the skills you have built up, such as, time management, organisational and communication skills. You will be awarded a certificate by N/OCN and Blossom acknowledging your involvement in the programme, it will look really good on your CV too.

Preparing for Independence
Fun in the Kitchen - Fab food on a budget. Learn how to plan a meal from starters to dessert, and healthy food need not be boring - we’ll show you how
Get That Job (part one) - Discover the perfect job for you. Learn how to look good and present yourself for that great interview. Gain confidence in written and verbal communication
Get That Job (part two) - Look how you feel - it’s important to match the inside with the outside. Improve your personal presentation, clothing and body language. Practice your interview skills and learn what to expect from an employer and your role as an employee
Take Good Care of Yourself - Look Good - Feel Good, Personal hygiene, grooming, and clothes

Arts and Craft Package
Art & Craft Therapy - Become a self expressionist
Paint & Print - Tell your story through art by getting down and dirty with the paints and inks
Sculpture - Build your self-esteem so high we’ll have to crane our necks to see it!
Craft - Show off your uniqueness by making gifts for yourself and friends

Through our broad range of courses our aim is to tackle issues that are relevant to young women, all of our courses are designed with the following life-areas in mind:
