Welcome to our Mid-2007 Newsletter. We have two courses starting and wanted to share them with you.

All About You
Starts: Friday, June 29th
Duration: 10 weeks
When: Fridays, 10am - 12.30pm
Location: The Gate Centre, Huyton
Our All About You course is all about ‘building confidence & positive thinking’. Discover your learning style, identify your strengths, and develop your communication skills while you make new friends. Discuss issues that are relevant to you and young women in today’s world. Face the challenges ahead with confidence.

Me, My Life, My Hopes

Duration: 10 weeks
When: TBA
Location: The Gate Centre, Huyton
Our course about increasing your ‘get up & go’. Go out and take charge of your life. Decide what it is you want to do, whether it’s find a job, or go to college. Come along, and in the company of like minded people, find out what makes you tick, and just what you’re made of. You’ll be surprised at just how much you’ve got to offer. Complete a ‘Personal Life Plan’, and discover your personal goals. Pick up some tips on interview techniques, how to dress impress and how to talk yourself into achieving the life you want.

16+ Shape Management
The course is in two parts:
Part 1 - is all about ‘looking after yourself’, on the inside & on the outside. Gain confidence from the workshop sessions, make new friends and discuss issues that are relevant to young women in today’s world. Face those challenges ahead feeling confident both inside and out.
Part 2 - you will attend 3 half hour sessions each week for 6 weeks with your own personal trainer. Go on, take up the challenge, you will be amazed at the results!

Let’s Get Physical
This course is in two parts
Part 1 - is all about ‘looking after yourself’, on the inside & on the outside for our under 16s. Increase self-esteem & gain confidence from the games and quizzes, make new friends and discuss issues that are relevant to girls in today’s society. Feel positive about yourself and your world.
Part 2 - you will mostly spend an hour at the Gym with a qualified instructor learning how to improve your strength, stamina, overall physical health and to use the equipment safely. Some part 2 sessions we’ll try something new and different such as Belly Dancing, Boxercise or Yoga - you’ll find what’s right for you!
Most of our courses / workshops are eligible for accreditation by the N/OCN
